FANUC Japan has honored both Quest Industrial and ProMach with its 2019 Global Partner Sales Award. This award, which was bestowed in December at FANUC’s Japanese headquarters, recognizes Quest’s outstanding sales and work on integrating FANUC robotics into their automation projects. FANUC is a leading industry supplier of robots, CNC systems and factory automation.

During its Global Integrator Conference Dec. 17 in Japan, FANUC recognized:

  • Ryan McCart, ProMach, President – Secondary Packaging
  • Erik Grinnell, Quest, Vice President of Automation
  • Aaron Phillips, Quest, Vice President of Operations

“ProMach is very excited for the Quest team to be recognized with the FANUC Global Partner Sales Award,” said Ryan McCart, President – Secondary Packaging, ProMach. “Quest has enjoyed a solid relationship with FANUC through the years and are focused to continue growing and delivering innovative robotic solutions to its customers.”

Founded in 2001, Quest Industrial (a ProMach brand) is the premier name in the development and implementation of robotic systems, integrated vision systems, system integration and other capabilities for the food, beverage, dairy and packaging automation industries. As the foremost robotic systems integrator, Quest’s goal is to apply their passion for robotics and engineering to help their customers operate more efficiently while reducing their costs.

Quest has installed more than 400 FANUC robots since forming a strategic partnership with them in 2008, including more than 130 in food-handling applications including dairy and fresh produce since 2017 alone. Its success in food is rooted in portability, as Quest’s designs enable entire production lines to relocate to different facilities in a matter of days. This convenience is particularly helpful in the produce industry as Quest-designed processing/packaging systems can be moved to accommodate different harvests throughout the year.

This isn’t the first time FANUC has recognized Quest for its leadership and commitment. Quest garnered three awards for its robotic engineering and sales support from FANUC America at the 2019 FANUC Authorized System Integrator Conference. FANUC has also presented various design and sales awards to Quest dating back to 2010, including the Excellence in Intelligent Robotics and Robotics Innovation awards.

ProMach Acquisition

In April 2019, ProMach acquired Quest Industrial as a way to strengthen its robotics integration capabilities. The addition of Wisconsin-based Quest Industrial expands ProMach’s capacity for sophisticated robotics projects, enhances ProMach’s robust robotics support competencies, and strengthens its integrated solutions capabilities for a wide range of applications.
